The Cherry Orchard FC - St Patrick’s Athletic Player Pathway Partnership is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Webb to the role of Small Sided Games Director of Football.
Paul has just completed a 5 Year stint within the St Pats LOI Academy structure, most recently working as a Coach with the St Pats U19 Team who clinched the EA Sports League Title in October 2022.
Paul will oversee all player development from U8 to U13’s within the partnership.
Mark Clohessy Football Operations Manager at Cherry Orchard said:
“We feel that this is an outstanding appointment.
Paul is an A Licensed Coach who has a vast amount of experience in player development.
With Paul coaching across Grassroots level and National league level for the past number of years, we feel Paul will be well positioned to orchestrate the production of Players capable of transitioning through the Partnership and into LOI Senior Football”.
St Pat's Academy Director Ger O'Brien said:
“I am delighted that Paul has taken up this role with the St Pats & Cherry Orchard Partnership.
I’ve worked closely with Paul over the last 5 years in many different areas of the academy and just like it is with players it’s is important for coaches to continue to develop and move forward with their own careers.
Paul will work closely with Ian Bermingham to help nurture and develop the talented players coming through Cherry Orchard where they will continue in to the St Pats academy over the next number of years.”

To have someone as experienced as Paul as head of our Small Side Games Section will be of great benefit our Players & Coaches.”
